Instructions for Admin roles to interact with the Lines page.
The Locations pages has the following features:
- Search Lines
- Lines Table
The Locations table displays the following information:
- Status
- Phone Number
- Location
- Description
- Line Type
- Port
- Organization
- Equipment
- MAC
- Provider
- Emergency Address
- Edit
The Lines table allows a user to Search a Location.
- Search bar: This feature allows a user to search relevant information at a location, such as Name, Address, DID, MAC Address, etc.
The Lines table allows a user to filter the following statuses. The statuses include All, Online, Trouble, Offline, and No Status. Users can quickly distinguish status of a location via color. These colors are:
- Purple: All Locations (only available via status pills)
- Green: Online – no lines offline
- Yellow: N/A
- Red: Offline – line offline will trigger this status
- Gray: No Status – location has not been set to Installed
The Locations table shows user background information about a Location. This information is:
- Line Status
- Location Phone Number - hyperlinks to a Location's Lines tab
- Location Name - hyperlinks to a Location's General tab
- Description, Line Type, and Port
- PBX provider
The Lines table stores all available features in the Show More icon. These features are:
Emergency Address: Feature allows user to edit the emergency address for line. If location address stays the same, user can update Address Line 2 for e911 to a specific location.
Edit: Feature allows user to edit a line at a location. This modal includes DID (not editable), Temp Porting Number (not editable), Description, Line Type (not editable), and Provider (not editable).
