M2 Power Source Notification

In the event that there is an issue with the battery for your MarketSpark solution you should receive a Power Source (Battery Status) Notification from Command Center.
Troubleshooting Steps
Locate the MarketSpark Equipment, the standard mounting location for the MarketSpark equipment is in the network equipment room, the correct mounting location should be verified. Within the network room, you should be able to find the equipment mounted on a backboard located near all other telephone wires and/or the network rack. The device is a large gray panel box with MarketSpark label on the front.
Open the panel, you should see the following:
- Router
- ZLAN
- Gateway
- Battery

Power Source Notifications
DC Power
Is the PowerTec battery disconnected from AC Power at the wall jack and on Backup Power (DC)?

If yes, the DC LED is solid green (1), indicating that AC Power has been lost and the battery is on. Check all power connectors (2-3).
- If no, the issue may have been resolved. Check timestamp and confirm if there was a power event at the location when the notification was sent.
Low Power
Is the Power Supply displaying a low battery signal (1)? (DC LED Green Flashing + 4 audio chirps, the audio chirps' cycle four every minute)
- If yes, check all power connectors (2-3). You will need to restore power to the equipment for the battery to charge until its capacity is determined to be normal.
- If no, the issue may have been resolved. Check timestamp and confirm if there was a power event at the location when the notification was sent.
When the power is restored, DC LED no longer flashes, audio chirps cease while battery is charging. If power is removed before the battery is fully charged, the blink/chirp cycle resumes.
Missing Power
Is the Battery disconnected from the PowerTec PSU / Battery combination? The Red Battery LED (1), indicating there is no battery present.
- Check if the battery LED is red.
- If the battery LED is red, reconnect the PSU to the battery.
- Confirm that the battery is attached properly and present.
- If the PSU continues to show the Red Battery LED despite the battery being properly attached and present, please create a support ticket at app.marketspark.com/support.
- Our support team will assist you further and arrange to ship you a new battery if necessary.

Please create a support ticket at app.marketspark.com/support and we will ship you a new battery.
