Command Center M2 Battery Notification
In the event that there is an issue with the battery for your MarketSpark solution you should receive a Battery Status Notification from Command Center.
Troubleshooting Steps
Locate the MarketSpark Equipment, the standard mounting location for the MarketSpark equipment is in the network equipment room, this may vary, and the correct location should be verified. Within the network room, you should be able to find the equipment mounted on a backboard located near all other telephone wires and/or the network rack. The device is a large gray panel box with MarketSpark label on the front.
Open the panel, you should see the following:
Power Source Notifications
- Power source has switched to DC
- Power source is low. Restore power.
- Power source is missing battery
- Power source has a battery that needs replacement
Power source has switched to DC
Is the PowerTec battery disconnected from AC Power at the wall jack and on Backup Power (DC)? If yes, the DC LED is solid (1), indicating that AC Power has been lost and the battery is on. Check all power connectors (2-4).
Power source is low. Restore power.
Is the Power Supply displaying a low battery signal (1) (DC LED Flashing)? If yes, check all power connectors (2-4). The battery will need to charge until its capacity is determined to be normal.
Power source is missing a battery
Is the Battery disconnected from the PowerTec PSU / Battery combination?
The Red Battery LED (1), indicating there is no battery present. If battery LED is red, reconnect the PSU to the battery. If battery is confirmed to be attached properly and present but the PSU continues to show the Red Battery LED, please create a support ticket at app.marketspark.com/support and we will ship you a new battery.

Power source has a battery that needs replacement
Does the battery need to be replaced? Please create a support ticket at app.marketspark.com/support and we will ship you a new battery. You will also see a Replace icon in your Battery State on the Diagnostics tab at your location.
